Solara and Shakeen

In the sun-drenched savannas of the Silvan plains, where the golden grasses sway like whispers in the breath of eternity, there lives a gentle and brilliant girl named Solara.

Though Solara has never uttered a single word to a single human being, including her own parents, she possesses the ability to commune with many beasts of the Wilds. This power was not born of spells or charms, but rather from a silent understanding natural to her, that transcends the boundaries of words. Her eyes, as deep and unfathomable as the starlit heavens above, hold the ancient secrets of kinship and love with the untamed and misunderstood.

One of her favorite companions is Shakeen, an ancient being of unknown origins. One of Shakeen's powers is known as the Moonlit Mirage, an ability to create illusions that manifest only under the light of crescent moons, manipulating reality to deceive foes or provide fleeting glimpses into past lives.

Through the dappled shadows of twilight and the blazing caress of noonday sun, they often ventured forth into the Savannas as companions bound by a silent covenant.

On one such night a host of creatures of the Shadowlands, with their hearts veiled in black hunger darker than the night itself, cast their ravenous gaze upon them when they wandered too close to safety's borders.

In the aftermath of the ensuing battle, where the earth drank deep of crimson tears and the cries of the fallen faded into the silent embrace of everywhere, Solara stood amidst the ashes of their victory. The creatures of darkness, stopped yet not vanquished, melted into the shadows from whence they came, leaving behind scars upon the land and upon the heart of Shakeen. Solara has vowed to spend the rest of her life searching for the cure to Shakeen's blackened scars.
