Marsellis and Her Mother's Eyes

In the tapestry of fate, woven with threads of redemption, Marsellis emerges from the shadowed remnants of a fractured past. She is the daughter of one of The Three — one of the scientists whose work birthed the cataclysm known as The Shattered Eye. She shoulders the weight of ancestral sins, determined to heal the wounds inflicted upon a broken world.

Her name, often spoken in hushed tones by her townspeople, is whispered as a lament, resonating with courage forged in the crucible of remorse. Her eyes, like tempestuous storm clouds brimming with defiance and compassion, mirror her unwavering resolve. Within her heart, a melody of redemption entwines, its gentle crescendo guiding her through the labyrinthine maze of her family's transgressions.

Beside her strides a mechanical companion, a creature of delicate beauty and compassion, its form adorned with two enchanted spiraling horns — vessels of the lunar magic that currently sustains life on her home world. When her mother died in the cataclysm, her eyes were saved and surgically implanted within this gentle beast, twin mirrors reflecting sorrow, wisdom, and containing all the memories her mother had ever witnessed.

The mechanical pet, known as Lyrial, its horns gleaming with lunar radiance, serves as a conduit, channeling her mother's vision and guidance. Together, they journey through valleys of ashen regret, where skeletal remains of once towering monuments whisper secrets of lost grandeur.

With Lyrial as her guide, Marsellis slowly begins the process of unraveling the enigma of her family's transgressions. They decipher the arcane whispers of ancient texts, and with each revelation, a sliver of hope pierces the girl's heart, illuminating the path to restitution.
